I’m not saying their business sign is literally  chalk on black construction paper, I’m just saying that’s what it looks like.

Congrats on getting over that financial stress you were posting about yesterday.

It's a shame that they axed the Prelude when they did. I wish it had stuck around a while longer.

I thought these had all been stolen at this point? Though looking at that “dealership” sign...

These didn’t get as affected by that as much as the Civic and Integra did. Probably because they break more frequently.

Got a link handy? I have my suspicions...

Too much internal competition doomed it, unfortunately. It was choked out by the roomier Accord coupe in the US, and in Japan its size put it into a higher tax bracket than the Civic and Integra, which limited sales.

Looks like a base from the wheels.

Edit: yep, base. The shift knob in the SH is different, and it also doesn’t have the third brake light in the rear deck. Bases with the lit spoiler thus have four brake lights.

And sadly now we can't even get an Accord coupe. I understand why the Prelude died though. There just wasn't enough room to squeeze in between a cheaper Civic and a roomier Accord.

I kinda figured- the SH had badges I think.

So what’s different about the SH? It’s not the engine - handling ?

Yeah, the SH had a badge but it was just a sticker. It was a handling difference...it added a torque vectoring system as opposed to a traditional LSD. It greatly improved the handling but was prone to failure. It also had some minor differences over the base: wheels, courtesy lights in the door, shift knob, body-color rocker panels (if it didn’t have the OEM aero kit), 3rd brake light only in the spoiler instead of the rear deck, and probably one or two other things I don’t remember.

Did I ever mention I bought a car from a Russian truck driver who lived in an old farm house in the middle of a strawberry field in South Sacramento? Yeah, that was a sketchy ass purchase and a piece of shit car.

Rattlecan painted interior bits that shouldn’t be that color even in JDM trim. Riced to death, major engine problems lurking for sure.  Walk away now.

If you want the king of the heap, tell the missus you’ll need to spend $20k in 6-9 months time. That’s the ask on the GS-RAWR with full restoration completed.
